LDPE/Micro Sheet & Sole [Eiri-0921]
Making of L.D. sheet and sole is a new development in rubber formulations. For the compounding purposes, for L.D products, among the other ingredients, L.D. constitutes a conspicuous are along with other rubber ingredients viz. SBR 1958 and natural rubber. Polyolefins Industries Ltd. now manufactures India and is also available for the footwear manufacturing industry as L.D. can be used for footwear, capable, hot melt adhesives,  wax modifiers, blends with bitumen, noise absorber, injection moulding, films, master batches, addtives as weather resistant ingredient, etc. L.D. either natural or synthetic, has been successfully used in to engineering fields for over a hundred years. The rubbers are very versatile and adaptable  materials. L.D is plastic, air tight, water resistant, shock-absorbing and long wearing. These characteristics make it almost indispensable for many applications. These outstanding physical property of L.D for the best advantage is its plasticity due to which the rubber is employed in various applications. Its weather resistivity, and carrying and cushioning features as general properties have an importance and the significance everywhere.  L.D. sheets are prepared by simple process known as calendering-after mixing the ingredients. The calendering machines are similar in sizes but have  three, four and five rolls (bowl rolls). Other features or the machine are almost similar to that of mixing mill. The extra frictional roll (rolls) coupled in the mixing mill can be named as calender machine. In some cases, the calenders are also used as mixing mill to prepare rubber compounds.
